IEC Names Centillium Communications Winner of 2007 InfoVision Award
The InfoVision Awards program recognizes technologies, applications, products, advances, and services deployed in the Asia-Pacific region judged to be the most unique and beneficial to the telecommunications industry and consumers globally. IEC Executive Vice President Roger Plummer commented, “The IEC’s InfoVision Awards program gives tribute to the paramount broadband innovations in deployment today in the Asia-Pacific region. We are pleased to recognize Centillium Communications as an InfoVision winner for its Mustang 300 CPE, which we appreciate as a significant contribution to the industry.”
The 2007 awards program received more than 160 entrants, naming 42 finalists in nine categories. Winners were announced at the Broadband World Forum Asia event in Beijing. Finalists were judged according the following criteria:
- Value of service or technology in solving recognized technology problems, meeting network requirements, optimizing service and performance, and/or enhancing customer service
- Overall quality of innovation and contribution to technology advancement
- Originality and vision
- Potential contribution toward positive industry growth and service
- Market success/acceptance (where applicable)
- Contribution to end-user quality of experience and service efficiency

Each year Communications Solutions magazine bestows Product of the Year awards on companies that have demonstrated excellence in technological advancement and application refinements," said Rich Tehrani, TMC President and Group Editor-in-Chief of Communications Solutions. INTERNET TELEPHONY editors selected the companies which in their view demonstrate the vision, leadership and attention to detail that are the hallmarks of the prestigious Product of the Year award winners.

of the Year" awards. A total of 29 different products in the
categories of data acquisition, audio/video technology, "green"
and green-power engineering, wireless, connectivity, networking,
and power management were selected, from among the hundreds
of products reviewed in 2005 by analogZONE.

won the Communications Solutions Product of the Year Award.
Each year Communications Solutions magazine bestows its Product
of the Year awards on companies that have demonstrated excellence
in technological advancement and application refinements.
The Palladia 400 was chosen because it's a highly integrated
solution for VoIP enabled ADSL residential gateways and IADs.
This solution provides a completely integrated datapump for
