Digital Video

Digital video replaces the traditional analog method for transporting signals between video sources such as PCs, DVD players and cameras, and video recording or display devices, such as monitors and TVs. Digital video uses a coded binary signal to produce and display the pixels that make up the frames of a video sequence. It is used primarily in High-Definition applications (DVI / HDMI).
