POSITION SUMMARY:

You will be part of a dynamic team of experienced software engineers developing software for Centillium's Entropia family of highly integrated chips for bridging circuit and packet switched networks. In this position, you will be a key player in developing and defining technologies emerging from the convergence occurring in the telecommunications industry today. You will be responsible for the full development cycle including design, implementation, unit testing, and systems integration.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Voice over IP, ATM and Frame Relay (VoIP, VoATM, VOFR)
  
• ATM: AAL1, AAL2, AAL5, IP/UDP/RTP/RTCP, QoS, Traffic Shaping/management
• Telecom or Networking software development experience
  
• Must be strong in C and RISC assembly programming
  
• Structured programming skills required.
  
• Real time software design and RTOS (VxWorks/ PSOS) experience
  
• Experience setting up a development environment.
  
• Must be willing to get hands "dirty".

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Knowledge of commercial protocol stacks desired.
  
• Software architecture design experience desired.
  
• Large software development experience
  
• Low level system debugging experience

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

• BS CS or EE + 2-4 years industry experience or MS CS or EE + 0-4 years industry experience.
