POSITION SUMMARY:

Own and manage several key product development programs involving IC design, board specification and development and DSP/Software development and porting in the DSL space. Assure successful overall product integration across several multifunctional core groups. Manage resource allocation and commitments. Communicate progress to management and engineering teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Working with chip design lead engineers on developing schedules and understanding the product architecture and design issues.
  
• Interfacing with test/product engineering to ensure parallel development and availability of test programs upon chip fabrication.
  
• Working with the hardware group in order to synchronize engineering board design and development.
  
• Interfacing with our DSP group and monitoring firmware and hardware issues that arise during the development cycle.
  
• Interfacing with our QA group when new product releases are pending.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Solid background in chip design
  
• Good knowledge of hardware/board issues as well as firmware development are highly desirable
  
• Excellent organizational and communications skills are required.
  

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

• BSEE/MSEE 10 Year+ chip and system industry experience.
