POSITION SUMMARY:
As a part of the
Systems Turnkey Design Group, the candidate will design and develop broadband
access products for Central Office and Customer Premises applications.
He/she will be working under the supervision of the Department Manager
to design, build and test digital, analog and mixed-signal circuit boards
per Centillium's quality initiatives and ISO9000 methodologies. He/she
will get involved in technologies which are defining communications in
the 21st century, such as for xDSL modems, and Voice Applications, including
Voice Telephony and Voice over IP and ATM.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong experience
in high speed digital designs and board and system level development
and testing
- Track record
of on-time and successful delivery of a minimum of two telecommunications
products from concept to production release
- Strong background
in xDSL technologies
- System, software
and hardware integration experience
- Outstanding communication
skills
- Strong experience
in high speed logic design, SDRAM technology and embedded controllers
- Strong knowledge
in FPGA/CPLD design using Verilog, and simulation
- Dedicated individual
who has the strong drive and desire to grow himself/herself and his/her
team with the company, and leads others and promotes team spirit by
this sense of commitment and enthusiasm.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Knowledge on Voice
over DSL, VoIP and VoATM technologies
- Experience with
Motorola processors families
- Working knowledge
on domestic and international telecommunications, EMC, EMI and safety
standards
- Strong knowledge
in hardware component technologies
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
- BSEE with 5+ years
or MSEE with 3+ years of related experience.
