The System Administrator will need to examine the status of the Recycle Bin from time to time. As documents are deleted, users will tend to leave their deleted documents in their Recycle Bins. The System Administrator has access to everyone's Recycle Bin.

Restoring Deleted Documents
|
When users delete a document belonging to another user (something they can only do if they have Full Control over the file or the folder it is held in), the deleted document
will go into the Recycle Bin of the user who deleted the document. If the user who owns the
document wishes to restore the document, the System Administrator must step in. To do this, perform one of the following:
|
- Navigate to your Recycle Bin.
- Search for the deleted document
by specifying the prompted criteria
- Click on Find to display the
search results
- Select the document and click on Restore

Re-claiming Disk Space by Archiving or Purging Recycle Bins |
In order to re-claim valuable disk space, the Recycle Bin has to be cleaned up periodically.
To do this, perform one of the following:
|
Archiving all Recycle Bins |
- Navigate to the Control Panel.
- Click on the Archive/Purge
Recycle Bin link.
- Specify a date in the Deleted
Before section. Note: Every document deleted before this date will be
archived and purged.
- Specify a path where you wish to
archive the selected documents.
- Click on the Purge button.
The selected documents will be archived to the specified path and purged from infoRouter.
|
Purging all Recycle Bins |
- Navigate to the Control Panel.
- Click on the Archive/Purge
Recycle Bin link.
- Specify a date in the Deleted
Before section. Note: Every document deleted before this date will be
