FARAJ AALAEI
CEO, Centillium Communications
Centillium CEO Faraj Aalaei is the
guiding force behind the company's successful track
record as a leading innovator of high performance,
cost
effective semiconductor solutions for "last mile" broadband access
deployments. An industry pioneer and holder of
two patents, Aalaei has spent over 24 years at the
forefront of technical advancements -
from helping develop the world's first broadband modem for CATV networks
to the introduction of Centillium's high capacity convergent technology
for DSL, optical and VoIP applications.
Prior to co-founding Centillium in 1997, Aalaei held a variety of
management and engineering positions at leading access technology
providers, where he applied his expertise to the development of DSLAM,
Digital Loop Carrier and Fiber-to-the-Curb products at Fujitsu; the
first SONET system at AT&T in collaboration with NTT; and high speed two
way systems for CATV networks at Bell Labs. He began his career at
MA/COM designing very high speed satellite communications systems.
Aalaei's contributions to the industry include chairing the PHY group at
DAVIC, serving on the advisory board of Global Catalyst Partners and
several high tech firms in Silicon Valley, as well as working frequently
with several other Venture Capital firms.
Aalaei holds an MSEE from University of Massachusetts and an MBA from
University of New Hampshire.

LINDA REDDICK
Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Ms. Reddick has over 25 years of financial management and corporate planning experience with public technology companies in the telecommunications and semiconductor industries. Prior to joining Centillium in 2005, Ms. Reddick served in various financial positions at Avanex Corporation, and as interim chief financial officer for eighteen months. She was also vice president and controller at Oplink Communications, Inc., and held various financial positions at Symmetricom, Inc., including vice president of finance at the company's semiconductor subsidiary, Linfinity Microelectronics, Inc. Ms. Reddick is a Certified Public Accountant and has over ten years of experience in public accounting, primarily at Deloitte & Touche. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business, with a concentration in Accounting, from San Jose State University. |

HASSAN PARSA
Vice President - Business
Development
Hassan Parsa has served as the Vice
President of Business Development for Centillium since
2003. Prior to joining Centillium, Parsa served as a
General Partner with Lucent Venture Partners, an early
stage venture capital firm funded by Lucent Technologies
and focused on Communications and Network Infrastructure
investments. As a Founding Partner, he played a key
role in developing Lucent Venture Partners’ investment
strategy and managed many of the firm’s most successful
investments. Prior to founding LVP, Parsa held executive
and business management positions at Lucent Technologies
and AT&T Network Systems, where he was responsible
for business development and mergers and acquisitions
execution. Parsa holds an MBA from Columbia Business
School along with a BS and an MS in Electrical Engineering
from the University of Maryland. |

KRIS SHANKAR
VP Sales and Customer Support
Kris Shankar has over 17 years technical and management experience in the telecommunications industry working for firms such as Nortel Networks, Fujitsu Network Communications and Ericsson. During this tenure, he was involved in the planning, design and deployment of several custom silicon-based products such as Digital Loop Carriers, Class-V switches, DSLAMs, ATM concentrators, OC3-OC192 SONET multiplexers and 2.4Tb/s ultra long-haul DWDM equipment. He was also a co-founder of Metro-Optix, a venture-funded optical startup acquired by Xtera Communications in 2004. He received his B.E. (Honors) from Regional Engineering College, Trichy, India and his M.S.E.E. from the University of Houston. He serves on the technical advisory board of Panorama Capital, a technology investment firm based in Menlo Park, CA. |

DR. SUDHIR CHANDRATREYA
VP Engineering & Technology
Dr. Sudhir Chandratreya has over 29 years experience in the semiconductor industry in various engineering and executive roles. He started his career in Hewlett Packard developing Silicon-on-Sapphire, NMOS and CMOS processes and device models. Later he worked on designs of instrument microcontrollers, PA-RISC CPUs and Memory Subsystems for the HP servers and workstations and EDA tool development efforts internal to HP. Afterwards he managed various designs at graphics companies Rendition (acquired by Micron technology) and SGI. In 2000 he became VP of Technology and later VP of VLSI Engineering and Technology at NeoMagic specializing in ultra low power battery operated SOC designs for cellular applications. He joined Centillium in Sept 2006 as VP of Hardware Engineering and was promoted to VP of Engineering and Technology in Feb 2008. He serves on technical advisory board of Atrenta Corporation. He received his B.Tech. from Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, India and his M.S.E.E. from the Stanford University and doctorate from University of California, Berkeley.
